The agritourism Il Buon Respiro rises at the centre of an agricultural biologic business and is surrounded by a large olive-plantation, by vineyard of perfumed white grape and immersed in meadows where pature sheeps and goats.
The agricultural business is settled in a panoramic valley: on one side you'll find Ficulle and Montegabbione, on the other side you'll have a wonderful look on the fortress of Allerona, in the woods of Monte Peglia.
The farmhouse is surrounded by oak-trees, is built in stone.
Inside, the structure has been restored respecting the tradition, with floors in typical italian "cotto", oak-beamed and with tiles.
Rooms are large, with bathroom and each with a characteristic panorama.
In the entrance, a wood-glass bookcase. The restaurant-room will host you for a dinner based on the biologic products of the agritourism, thank to its vegetable garden, its homemade pasta, chicken, lambs, goats and, in the right season, fowl and truffles, served with the wine produced by the agricultural business.
For the person who loves trekking, there is the possibility to walk many paths in the near Selva di Meana (Meana's wood) or in the Riserva Naturale di Monte Rufeno (Natural Reserve of Rufeno Mountain) To cover paths, you can also use bicycles that you can book in the agritourism.
A must-to-visit is the near Bolsena lake.
For lovers of the cultural tourism, a must-to-see are the tufa-architecture of Orvieto, its Chatedral and museums; the beauty of Todi; Città della Pieve.
To visit there are also Pitigliano, Siena, and Florence (at only 90 minutes by car), Viterbo, Vico lake, Roma (at 100 km).
We advise you also the near thermal centre of San Casciano dei Bagni, and the relaxing chinese massage, practised in a farmhouse bordering our agricultural business.
