Farmhouse Tuscany - A beautiful country villa, old stone farmhouse, which has been completely restored with great care to all details both in the inside rooms restoration and furnishings.
Draperies, paintings and period pieces are perfectly set in the rustic rooms of the house creating a good balance between charm of the original tuscan farmhouse and owners’ flavour.
All the night area has parquet floor. The villa has a beautiful fenced garden with a lot of flowers bush and high trees .
Thanks to the barbecue and to the large well equipped patio in the summer times it is possible to live the outside spaces with the same comfort of the inside rooms.
In front of the house is a small dependance (about 15 sq. mt) with a room and a bathroom with bath where is the washing machine.

In each house has to be paid by the guest before the departure the sum of Euro 10,00 (by cash) for person for the final cleanings, except where is differently specified in the notes.

Animals (where allowed and only after have received our confirmation) pay a supplement of Euro 25,00 for week on the price.

Territory
Siena
The city was probably been settled in the time of Etruscans. However, the first document dealing with Siena is from 70 a.D. It's been written by Tacito. In that document, the city was called Sena Julia. We don't know much about the history of the city till the beginning of the new millennium: about the previous centuries, we know only that there were a big argue between the Bishop of Siena and the Bishop of Arezzo, dealing with the territorial border. The argue was solved first in favour of the Bishop of Arezzo, but then, when Siena went under the power of Francs (853 a.D.), the territory were given to the Bishop of Siena. However the city, that was first governed by Bishops then by counts, gets a certain importance.
In 1147 Siena became a self-governing commune. Because of the increasing of the Senese territory, done by the submission of the counts of the surrounding territory to Siena, the confrontation with Florence became inevitable. The war ended only in 1555: Siena was defeated and it was annexed to the Great duchy of Tuscany. It entered in the Italian Kingdom in 1861.
