The Val Cerfone, crossed by the stream that give it its name, it’s an oasis of a rare beauty, with its ancient towns, Benedettine abbeys and characteristical farmhouses spreaded in the woods of oaks and chastnut-tree, where can be picked up delicious mushrooms (the most important of this area is the “Boletus Edulis”, called “Porcino”).
The agricultural business, easily reachable from the city of Arezzo (10 minutes by car), is extended for 50 ha in the Val Cerfone (Cerfone Valley), where it has created the agritourism (its motto is “My house is your house”, and it summarize the ancient rural hospitality). The research in traditions and the passion for cooking, using also biological products, made possible to re-use ancient recipes, that can be tasted in the fascinating atmosphere of the surrounding environment, where the green is intense and it’s broken only by… the blue of the sky!
The Agritourism has reserved 10 ha of woods and paths, near to the inhabited areas, for an exclusive use of guests for invigorating excursions and walking by foot and mountainbike. The area is completely enclosed. Apartments have been restored with care and well furnished and, also if they have every modern comfort, they’re perfectly integrated with the natural landscape surrounding them.
