Ancient Tuscany farmhouse, settled near to the centre of Palazzone, nice town in the south part of the province of Siena, surrounded by vineyard and olive trees, that represents the main economic activity of this area.
The structure is in stone, surrounded by a large garden with hundred-year old trees, and to reach it you have to cover an avenue sided by cypresses that leads in the front of the farm business. Part of the farm is in fact used for the main activity of the farm business, that is the wine production. Under the main inside of the farmhouse have been derived vault cellar of rare beauty.
Apartments have been placed at 1st and 2nd floor, and they can communicate thanks to a door that from the kitchen of the bigger apartment leads to an inside staircase that guide us to the 2nd floor.
The restoration done has been cared in every particular, not only concerning the material used, but also for the structural maintenance of the original rooms; also the colour of the rooms have been done according to the original colour of the ancient Tuscany farmhouse.

There are 3 kind of booking solutions:
Tipo A (A kind) – 2nd floor 4 bed places 100 square metres
Kitchen with living-room and launch area, 1 double room, 1 twin room, 1 bathroom with shower.
Tipo B (B kind) – 1st +2nd floor 7 b.p. 270s.m.
This kind is formed by the union of 2 apartments. The one is the apartment at the second floor described above, + an apartment at the 1st floor composed by: kitchen with high fireplace, large dining room, large living-room/lounge with fireplace, 1 double bed, 1 single bed, 1 bathroom with shower.
Tipo C (C kind) – 9 b.p. – For this kind of solution you have to refer to the B kind + a twin room and 1 bathroom in the apartment at 1st floor.

Territory
Siena
The city was probably been settled in the time of Etruscans. However, the first document dealing with Siena is from 70 a.D. It's been written by Tacito. In that document, the city was called Sena Julia. We don't know much about the history of the city till the beginning of the new millennium: about the previous centuries, we know only that there were a big argue between the Bishop of Siena and the Bishop of Arezzo, dealing with the territorial border. The argue was solved first in favour of the Bishop of Arezzo, but then, when Siena went under the power of Francs (853 a.D.), the territory were given to the Bishop of Siena. However the city, that was first governed by Bishops then by counts, gets a certain importance.
In 1147 Siena became a self-governing commune. Because of the increasing of the Senese territory, done by the submission of the counts of the surrounding territory to Siena, the confrontation with Florence became inevitable. The war ended only in 1555: Siena was defeated and it was annexed to the Great duchy of Tuscany. It entered in the Italian Kingdom in 1861.
