Agritourism surrounded by hills and olive trees, composed by 2 independent units completely restored. The main farmhouse, in stone, is partially inhabited by its owners, and partially used by guests.
Inside the farmhouse it’s been derived an apartment composed by 2 bedrooms, with external independent spaces. The swimming pool, at times used also by owners, is in a very panoramic place. The restructuring and the furnished are very cared. Settled at 10 minutes form the toll booth of Chiusi (Autostrada A1), the agritourism rises in one of the greener area of the south of Siena province.
Particularly indicated for the excursions to the near Etruscan areas, but also to importan centres like Siena, Florence, Rome.

Territory
Siena
The city was probably been settled in the time of Etruscans. However, the first document dealing with Siena is from 70 a.D. It's been written by Tacito. In that document, the city was called Sena Julia. We don't know much about the history of the city till the beginning of the new millennium: about the previous centuries, we know only that there were a big argue between the Bishop of Siena and the Bishop of Arezzo, dealing with the territorial border. The argue was solved first in favour of the Bishop of Arezzo, but then, when Siena went under the power of Francs (853 a.D.), the territory were given to the Bishop of Siena. However the city, that was first governed by Bishops then by counts, gets a certain importance.
In 1147 Siena became a self-governing commune. Because of the increasing of the Senese territory, done by the submission of the counts of the surrounding territory to Siena, the confrontation with Florence became inevitable. The war ended only in 1555: Siena was defeated and it was annexed to the Great duchy of Tuscany. It entered in the Italian Kingdom in 1861.
