Acquapendente Natural Reserve of Rufeno Mountain is settled on the northern corner of Viterbo province, near to the town called
Acquapendente. It's one of the first Reserve that's been created in Lazio: it was formed in 1983. Its area is about 3000 hectares and is covered especially by oak, quercus cerris above all, but we can find conifers reforestation too. There are various kind of flora: for example, the Tricholoma Rufenum. About fauna, there are turtles, salamander, river's crab, boar, roe deer, deer, and we must mention also the sporadic presence of wolves.
